Eat your hearts out you badgers and swamp yankees. I stayed in this hotel/resort when I interviewed with the Family "Y" at Palm Desert California. Good experience!

The pool is just a hole with a cement bottom & a bunch of pipes sticking out. The bath house, concession room, offices, and mechanical room are just shells now; but the center is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend.
Yes, it was beautiful and warm.

The swimming pool at the resort looked over a golf course where a buch of duffers hacked a way. But how would I know what they were doing since I have never played a hole of golf and wouldn't know which way to hold the cue.

While there I walked both nights about 4.2 and 5.5 miles. On the second night John's restaurant appeared and I had to try it out. It might become a favorite with me.
Hope it works out and you all can come to visit , or not. The job is a good match and would be both fun and a challenge.
