A few fliers - which do you like best & why

After the check out (evaluation) dives in which two ACG dstudents were certified, I wanted to use the experience for promotion of our SCUBA program and create a token of appreciation & keep sake for the students in addition to being certifed.

The fliers/posts below are all photographs of the actual copy as Blogger would not accept the digital originals.

Please let me know your thoughts on thes products and how they can be improved for the future.

This is a final and has been posted. But I would like to refine for the future.

The above flier/poster will be used to promote as well as having a super large poster to be given to the participants. Below is the original concept.

I hope you are having some fun with this activity. I sure did with the diving and poster design.

Diving Bliss

We're going diving and it's wonderful. I can share pictures, but wish you were here to share in the actual, not virtual, experience.

You know what's comming, and it's going to be good!

We are ready...

Opps. Maybe ready!

Just floating mid water.

If I flap enough can I take off?

I'm Ok!! What about YOU?

Finding our way in the wonderland beneath the sea. Even if not 20,000 Leagues

I gotch ya.

and I'll take care of you cause, cause I know how... I'm trained and soon to be certified.

Look'n up as the rescue drill continues.

Yes, I'm one of Ted's first two ACG students to become certified.

And I'm the second. Although I must say we did it together. With the emphais on team.

A great sight when returning from a dive in the middle of the Big Sea.

Permission to board, Sir?

A little rest between dives. Is it really needed? I just want to get back down there.

Stop! You are now certified. You should be pleased.

Ture ECSTASY is not that hard to find. Look to the sea. Look to good friends, which should include the Lord. Look to family. And look to your L.L.L.
post script: See you soon L.L.L.

Good Reading

Just finished "Shadow Divers" last night. It was a wonderful book. While it was about the discovery of a German U boat off the New York/New Jersy coast (happened while I was diving with GSU and I heard one of the divers speak at the Boston Sea Rovers Suba Conference), it made for a lot of self searching and "condem"plation. It has inspired me to think, just think about putting some thoughts of a demented and failing mind to paper. The name of the boat used to travel to and from the U-boat, which was in 230+ feet of water, was Seeker. The name of the paper with my ramblings may well be: Seeking: the remblings of a demented and failing mind - what's true and what's not. Now I seem to be slipping is this some kinda nostalgia. Last blog sappy and this one with this sort of garbage. I think I need a good deep dive; say to the U856 or maybe with Billy Young in one of the north Florida caves to get me back into living. One thing about the book that impressed me was the comaraderie and dedication to purpose.

Enough, enough of this b....

Sanua & Swim after spectatular Sun Set

Yes, this is only part of what you are missing. Artsy aint it!

The pool has a special effect this time of night
You can pretend, but you won't feel the warmth of being here with me.

As the song says, "Some people never find it, some only pretend; but, for me, I want to live happily ever after, every now and then." I figure if I put enough of the now and thens together life can be very happy indeed and I won't have to wait for the end of act III of a three act life (play).
The Old Man at it again longing for his L.L.L. (a little sappy, wouldn't you say.)

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise

Yes, it is another beautiful day and the end of the golden time capped off the day by lasting for more than an hour. Pictures were taken about 18:00. Last night's sunset was spactacular. Maybe I'll try to catch the one tonight digitally.

Lovely, especially as I listen to the tunes Laurie catured on the i-pod.

Lonely, wish you were here to enjoy all of this with me. Notice the last two postings have no one in them; but are still very inviting.

The start of a very fine trip to the west: First to Rhode Island, then Wisconsin, and back to Rhode Island. It just don't get much better! The first super supper or something like that. Where's Frankie woops, I mean Evelyn?

Liesure time for the girls.

Isn't this a little young for learning house work. A few years of growth and fun; please Mom & Dad. I say grant The Oliver his wish.

Hey, we are in here!

We can. Yes, we can, with a little help from Big Sis. not Big Brother. (Sorry about the political satire.)

And thus ends another wonderful bed time story from ...... Old Man.
